Day 22 – Children and Chemicals
Ĺittle Sena was just 3 years old.
While her mother was cooking, she wandered into the bathroom and found a colorful bottle under the sink.
It looked like juice.
She drank it.
Within minutes, she was vomiting blood.
Rushed to the hospital, doctors fought to save her from the chemical burns in her throat and stomach.
She survived — barely. But the scars will last forever.
Many household products — bleach, soap, disinfectants — are dangerous if left within a child’s reach.
🧴 Store chemicals in locked cabinets
🔒 Use childproof caps
📦 Never transfer chemicals into drink bottles
🚫 Teach kids early: “If you don’t know it, don’t touch it.”
A safe home is not just clean — it’s smartly arranged
