Day 27 – Slippery Tiles, Silent Danger
Kofi had just mopped the living room.
It looked clean, shiny, perfect.
But a few minutes later, his grandmother stepped in — unaware.
She slipped.
Fell backward.
And fractured her hip.
She would need surgery and months of painful recovery — all because of a wet floor with no warning.
Slips and falls are one of the most common injuries at home.
And they’re 100% preventable.
🚫 Don’t leave wet floors unattended
⚠️ Always place visible “Wet Floor” signs or warnings
🧼 Use non-slip tiles in bathrooms and kitchens
👣 Keep walkways free from clutter and cords
🧓🏽 Pay extra attention when elderly people are around.
