Day 21 – Broken Ladder, Broken Leg
The ladder had a crack — small but clear.
Everyone knew it. No one said anything.
Until Sam used it.
He climbed halfway to fix a light fixture at the warehouse. The ladder wobbled.
Then it gave way.
The fall snapped his leg.
What was supposed to be a 10-minute task turned into 3 months of surgery, recovery, and lost income.
Faulty tools don’t ask for permission — they fail when you least expect it.
✅ Inspect equipment before every use
✅ Tag and report faulty ladders or tools
✅ Don’t “manage” or “try your luck” — it’s not worth it
✅ Replace or repair before someone gets hurt
One weak step can break more than bones — it can break trust, productivity, even lives.
