Day 16 – Stress is a Silent Killer
Afi was always early. Always efficient. Always smiling.
But lately, she had been unusually quiet — missing deadlines, snapping at colleagues, forgetting simple things.
No one asked.
She never said.
Until the day she collapsed at her desk.
The doctor’s report?
Chronic stress. Hypertension. Burnout.
She had been carrying too much for too long — silently.
In the workplace, we often focus on helmets and harnesses, but ignore the dangers we can’t see — like pressure, overload, and emotional fatigue.
Mental health is health.
Fatigue causes mistakes. Burnout leads to breakdowns. And silence can be deadly.
