Day 12 – What’s in Your First Aid Kit?
Kwesi slipped while fixing a ceiling fan. He landed hard on his arm — bleeding, groaning in pain.
Everyone panicked.
Someone shouted, “Get the first aid kit!”
But when they opened it… it was nearly empty.
No gloves. No antiseptic. No bandage.
Just expired ointment and an old pair of scissors.
By the time help arrived, the wound was infected, and Kwesi had lost too much blood.
A first aid kit is like a fire extinguisher — useless if it’s not ready before the emergency.
Check yours today:
Are the items complete?
Are they expired?
Do people know where it’s kept?Because when seconds count, preparation saves lives.
Don’t wait for an injury to realize what’s missing.
