Day4 – Shortcut Regret
Kojo had done it a hundred times before.
He climbed up the scaffolding without a harness — just a quick fix, he told himself. It would take less than a minute.
He stepped onto a loose plank.
It slipped.
He fell.
His leg was shattered. Three surgeries later, Kojo still walks with a limp — a permanent reminder of one careless choice.
Taking shortcuts may save time in the moment, but the consequences can last a lifetime.
In safety, there are no small risks. Every rule exists because someone once got hurt breaking it.
Don’t be fast and careless. Be safe and smart.
