Day 28 – The Overloaded Power Strip
Kwame had everything plugged in.
His fan.
His phone charger.
His laptop.
A TV.
And even his rice cooker — all into one extension cord.
He thought, “It’s working fine.”
Until one night, sparks flew.
Smoke followed.
And the power strip melted into the tiles.
Thankfully, the circuit breaker tripped in time — or his entire room could have gone up in flames.
Overloading power strips is a quiet hazard — until it’s too late.
