Day 2 – A Second Too Late
Yaw was running late for class. As he dashed across the road, eyes locked on his phone screen, he didn’t see the taxi speeding around the corner.
He stepped off the curb.
The horn blared.
Brakes screeched.
Too late.

“You could’ve been dead.”
