ATS stands for Applicant Tracking System.
An ATS filter is a type of software used by many companies to manage job applications.
🔍 What It Does:
1. Scans and Filters CVs/Resumes – It automatically reads and analyzes submitted CVs to check for specific keywords and criteria set by the employer.2. Ranks Applicants – Based on how closely your CV matches the job description (in terms of skills, experience, and keywords), the ATS ranks or scores your application.
3. Screens Out Unqualified Candidates – If your CV doesn’t include the right terms or formatting, it might be rejected before a human ever sees it.
📌 Why It Matters:
Even if you’re highly qualified, not using the right keywords or formatting can cause your CV to be filtered out.16 Comments
