The reviewing stage of an ATS combines automated ranking based on keywords and qualifications with manual evaluation by recruiters, who assess clarity, relevance, and formatting to shortlist the most suitable candidates.

Thank you for sharing, Bright. Proper formatting, which includes clarity, plays a significant role in allowing recruiters to quickly review your CV. While formatting can influence whether a CV is reviewed, it is not the primary focus of recruiters when shortlisting candidates. Recruiters primarily look at whether a candidate meets the minimum requirements of the role in terms of qualifications and relevant experience. The relevance of your experience to the role how well it aligns with the ideal candidate as defined in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) are key factors in shortlisting candidates.
