Today’s progress.
I was able to cover another two lessons today along with their quizzes and this is what I learnt

LESSON 5: I learnt about risk assessment and the 4 steps of risk assessment which are;
1. Hazard identification
2. Risk analysis
3. Risk evaluation
4. Risk control

LESSON 6: I learnt about the hierarchy of control, which talks about the systematic approach in managing hazards by implementing controls from most effective risk control to the less effective risk control methods.
The 3rd picture shows the hierarchy.

As a safety professional PPEs should be your last resort after all the other control methods have been considered.
