Today’s progress.
I was able to cover an additional two lessons today along with their quizzes and this is what I learnt.

LESSON 3: I learnt about what occupational safety and health (OSH) principles are, and the 8 principles of OSH which are;
1. Safety is an ethical responsibility
2. Safety is a culture not a programme
3. Management is responsible
4. Employee must be trained to work safely
5. Safety is an employment condition
6. All injuries are preventable
7. Safety programs must be site specific
8. Safety is good business.

Lesson 4: I learnt about the basic definitions of OSH which included; Hazards, accidents, incidents, risks, near misses, acute effects, controlled risk, dangerous occurrence, environmental aspect, environmental impact and many others.
