As a final-year Geological Engineering student, I’ve come to truly appreciate the critical role groundwater plays in global water security. While surface water often gets the spotlight, groundwater quietly supports billions—from drinking water to agriculture and industry.

In a changing climate, where surface water is becoming more erratic and scarce, groundwater stands out as a reliable and resilient resource. But it is not infinite—sustainable management is key.
